THE MINING CADASTRE DEPARTMENT WISHES TO INFORM THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT THE RESULTS OF THE 73RD MINING LICENCING COMMITTEE MEETING ARE NOW OUT AND AVAILABLE AT MINING CADASTRE DEPARTMENT, ALL REGIONAL BUREAUX (MKUSHI, KITWE, CHIPATA, CHOMA, MANSA AND SOLWEZI) AND THE MINISTERIAL WEBSITE & FACEBOOK PAGES.
THEREFORE, ALL THOSE WHOSE APPLICATIONS WERE CONSIDERED DURING THE MEETING ARE HEREBY ADVISED AS FOLLOWS;
- SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST COLLECT OFFER LETTERS FROM OUR REGISTRY AND PAY THE APPLICABLE AREA CHARGES AND MEET ANY OTHER CONDITION(S) (AS THE CASE MIGHT BE) WITHIN THE STIPULATED WINDOW PERIOD AS ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF ACCEPTANCE OF THE OFFER;
- DEFERRED APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE THE REQUESTED INFORMATION WITHIN THE STIPULATED WINDOW PERIOD OR MUST EXPLAIN, IN WRITING TO THE DIRECTOR OF MINING CADASTRE, THE STEPS THEY ARE TAKING TO ENSURE THE NECESSARY INFORMATION IS PROVIDED TO ENABLE COMPLETION OF THE LICENCING PROCESS; AND

ALL APPLICANTS ARE ADVISED TO TAKE NOTE OF THE “WINDOW PERIOD” WITHIN WHICH THE OFFER IS VALID, INFORMATION MUST BE PROVIDED (IN CASE OF DEFERRED APPLICATIONS) OR THE APPEAL MUST BE MADE (IN CASE OF REJECTED APPLICATIONS).
