PUBLIC NOTICE
REF: FEES AND FINES (FEE AND PENALTY UNIT VALUE) REGULATION, 2024
Reference is made to the above subject matter.
This notice serves to inform the general public that the Government through Ministry of Finance and National Planning has amended the Fees and Fines (Fee and Penalty Unit Value) Regulations, 2014 in the Treasury and Financial Management Circular No 12 of 2024, to increase the unit values of both the Fee Unit and Penalty Unit from “Thirty Ngwee” to “Forty Ngwee.”
To this effect and in accordance with Statutory Instrument No. 25 of 2024, all service fees and fines associated with mining and non-mining rights have changed accordingly, effective 26th April, 2024.
The tables below show the service fees and fines before and after the adjustments for reference.
